The North Coast 500 is the name given to one of the most beautiful coastal drives Scotland has to offer. As the title suggests, it covers 500 miles of the North Highland’s most scenic landscape, starting and finishing in the city of Inverness.
We are lucky enough to live alongside the official North Coast 500 route and spend a lot of time travelling in and around it in our VW campervan. You’ll find lots of articles on North Coast 500 locations here, as well as information on many hidden gems found off the tourist trail (with a sprinkling of insider local knowledge). You can read all about life here on the NC 500 in my article here. You may also enjoy these posts on Sandwood Bay and the Scottish Midge (just in case!)
Do follow me on Instagram to see lots more of my NC 500 photos. If you’re planning a trip to the far north of Scotland soon, you’ll find lots more information on the official North Coast 500 website too.
